Chancellor Rishi Sunak delivered an autumn Budget and Spending Review that aims to “begin the work of preparing for a new economy post Covid. The Prime Minister’s economy of higher wages, higher skills… rising productivity [and] of strong public services”.  

The Chancellor’s speech focused on the government’s ‘levelling up’ agenda, providing increased support for early years and education and spending on infrastructure.
