Chairs and Chief Executives network, December 2024

The next meeting of our Chairs and Chief Executives network will be taking place virtually on Thursday 12 December between 10:00-13:00.
The agenda will include:
- NHS Providers will present a strategic policy update and share analysis on what developments may mean for the provider sector. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A.
- Roger Kline, research fellow at Middlesex University, and Joy Warmington, chief executive at brap, will explore insights since the publication of their report, Too Hot to Handle, the role of the board and what they'd like to see from the 10-year plan to address workforce inequalities.
- Three new appointees at NHS England will join us to discuss the challenges they are addressing in their roles and attendees will have the chance to give their own perspectives in a discussion focussed on the response to Lord Darzi's diagnosis of the challenges facing the NHS.
Who is it for?
- All chairs and chief executives of NHS trusts and foundation trusts.
- Interim/acting/assistant chairs and chief executives are also welcome to attend.
