Hear Professor Kiran Patel discuss the importance of addressing health inequalities and the challenges ahead at a local and system level. He shares how race can be a key marker of inequality, based on the systemic racism within society, in turn limiting access to health care and delaying diagnoses for ethnic minorities. He then presents interventions University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) are implementing to tackle health inequalities as an acute provider.

She shares the trust's work on addressing non-attendance at planned care and how they are developing their strategy and approach, using the Core20PLUS5 framework.
