Communication Leads network, April 2025

The next meeting of our Communication Leads network will be taking place virtually on Thursday 24 April between 11:00 - 13:30.
An engaging agenda for this event is being developed, and we will share more details in the coming weeks. The meeting will include:
- A strategic policy update exploring the current political landscape and analysing what developments may mean for the provider sector. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A and discussion.
- Edna Boampong, programme director: diverse and inclusive communications at NHS Confederation, will provide an update on the Task Force for Diversity in NHS Communications and discuss her thoughts on recent changes in the NHS, including challenges and potential impact.
- A plenary discussion, giving attendees an opportunity to have open conversations with colleagues within a safe space environment.
- Further sessions to be announced.
The meeting will be chaired by:
- Kate Jarman, Chief Corporate Services Officer, Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Who is it for?
- Anyone with strategic oversight for the communications agenda of their trusts, for example, directors of communications, public affairs, engagement or marketing and senior communications manager.
- Interim, acting, assistant and deputy directors are also welcome to attend.
