The next meeting of our Non-Executive Directors network will be taking place virtually on Thursday 21 November between 13:00 - 16:00.

An exciting agenda for this event is being developed, with more details to be shared in the coming weeks. The meeting will include:

• Sir Julian Hartley, chief executive at NHS Providers, will present a strategic policy update covering developments and issues and sharing analysis on what these may mean for the provider sector. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A.
• Andrew Davidson, national head of employment at Hempsons, will join us to discuss the risks of not addressing the ethnicity pay gap, the board's role and practical steps to addressing the gap. 
• NHS England's appointments team will join us to consider the role of the NHS chair and to understand more on any barriers in applications and appointments.

Who is it for?

• All non-executive directors of NHS trusts and foundation trusts.
• Interim/associate non-executive directors are also welcome to attend.
