Following the publication of the NHS Long Term Plan in January 2019, NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) committed to publishing an implementation framework setting out further detail on how it would be delivered.

This implementation framework has now been published and contains guidance on the approach Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs) and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are asked to take to create their strategic plans to deliver the Long Term Plan.
